Trail Type
Moccasin Gap multi-use trail system has trails that will appeal to all types of riders. High mountain provides a good source for more advanced riders and the other trails are nice and slowing. The past year the area has had a substantial amount of rain causing a few rougher(rocky) trails. For the most part this trail system is a smooth going fun trail. You can expect a few narrower trails or narrower stretches in the trail.

Technical Locations
This trail isn't really the one I'm looking for when I'm looking for a advanced ride though the trail does give you a few good hill climbs from time to time.
Machine Modification
Perfect trail system for stock machines.

Trailheads, Signage, and Maps
Moccasin Gap Horse Cap is accessible by heading north on highway 7 past Dover, Arkansas. You can expect to pay a day use fee or camping fees. Extra maps are often provided to this trailhead. This trailhead provides camping spots without hookups and a vault toilet.
Mack Pines is a small campground on highway 7 just south of the trailhead turnoff. This place has Cabins, Camping spots(primitive, RV) with hookups and they also provide a small restaurant and general store. According to my understanding of Arkansas state law you are allowed to travel from Mack Pines to the Forest Service road just across the street and south of the store. That short road will take you straight on the trail.
Signage is ok in this area. Over the years this area has lost trail markers and from time to time can prove difficult when navigating when faced with a fork in the trail.

Points of Interest, Scenery and Uniqueness
Moccasin Gap is packed full of kodak moments and scenery. It seems like just about every other bend you come across a creek, clearing, rock formations, and a waterfall or two(usually not during the dry season). My personal Favorite time of year to go to this place is during the color change in the fall. This area has a great mix of hardwoods and softwoods so when the colors change it just makes it a spectacular sight.
Uniqueness
Unique areas with this trail system that you just don't see at others is the ability to drive to a general store/restaurant (Mack Pines) and the two Waterfalls the system as.
